No titles for my current picture, something about a path and serenity, but I am still working on it. Having invested all of my efforts into pen and pencil up till now, any previous efforts with color were just that, an effort. But I been thoughtful and gentle in my approach to this picture and I feel as rewarded as when I ink or pencil. I will be posting a picture progression of the progression of this picture, as suggested by my accomplished and creative husband.

I met many interesting people during our days at the California building and the St. Paul Art Crawl. I learned a lot about the daily experience of being a working artist. I hope someday to be one of them. My most recent experiments with color, having been strictly pen and pencil, have opened a new way for me. I feel a new depth with color and am looking forward to all the beauty that will reveal itself to me. My aliens, as my husband has named them, have never looked better and seeing everything through colored glasses is fun. P.S. I must also give credit to my family and their unique contributions to a beautiful way of life.
